Our top priority is safety and knowledge. Check Out our Film on preparation for our Tours and Detailed list below.
You need:
· Wind and waterproof jacket and pants depending on the severity of the weather
· Sturdy hiking boots
· Base layers/woolen layers
· Warm layers (the amount will depend on the time of year)
· A backpack of minimum 35 litres.
· A warm hat/beanie
· Capacity for 2 litres of water. Often we can refill along the way, but not always
· Sunglasses and Sunscreen
A big lunch. All of our trips are physical and you will require more food than you would normally consume at home. Our Trolltunga day trips can often reach 12 hours and require a lot of food. Protein and snack bars are good but must accompanied by some thing substantial like several sandwiches
Things to remember:
- No Cotton! Woolen base layers are best
- Multiple layers are better than heavy garments. Also try to pack as light as possible.
- We adhere to the; 'Leave No Trace' outdoor code. We carry everything home, including ALL organic waste.
- It is possible to rent jackets, pants, boots and backpacks at the Trolltunga Active Base in Skjeggedal.
