Join up for an introduction to snowboarding! Our team of instructors will help you find the best way to improve your skills, and ensure you make the most of your time on the mountain.Being individual is what snowboarding is about, and our snowboard lessons will be adjusted to your level, focusing on helping you get the most fun and best sensations from snowboarding.


Adventure information:

Meet up 10.00 at the skinrental of Røldal Skisenter.

We will spend the day testing different techniques and exercises.

The level of training will be adjusted to the skiing experience of the participants.


For those who wish to begin snowboarding or improve their skills:

Master the basics such as stopping and speed control on both heel and toe edges.

Progress to turns, eventually link smooth 'S' turns and carving.

Help using the different types of lift in the resort.

Advice on equipment and clothing.


If you already have some experience and wish to improve then our guides can also help you progress onto more advanced skills.

Whether you want to master carving and riding faster, freestyle or skills to prepare you for the backcountry we can offer you a fun and memorable day out.


Maks 6 persons per guide.

Duration approx. 2 hours



Normal alpine skiing experience, new or beginner to snowboarding.

Good physical condition.

Please inform us of any medical conditions like asthma, epilepsy etc.

Min. age: 10 yrs.

Children at the age of 10-13 years must be accompanied with adults.



You need to bring:

- backpack 40L

- snacks

- warm and waterproof clothes

Recommended clothing: Wollen underwear, ski pants and jacket, hat, gloves and neck warmer. Don’t forget to protect your neck and your head from the cold

Additional 400 nok for private tuition.
