At our base, you'll receive all the essential information you need, have your questions answered, and receive your liner to take on the mountain. Plus, we have a fully stocked store where you can rent essential hiking gear such as wind jackets, pants, hiking boots, and backpacks.
Need extra supplies? We offer hiking essentials like sunglasses and socks, along with convenient food options like Dryteck and Real Turmat to fuel your journey!
You have the flexibility to choose your adventure: start your hike from P2 or take our shuttle bus to P3 (shuttle not included in the tour), tickets can be booked here. The hike typically takes 4-5 hours to reach the camp, so take your time to savor the stunning views along the way. Whether you decide to head straight to Trolltunga or visit the camp first is entirely up to you.
For the adventurous souls, you can challenge yourself with the Trolltunga Via Ferrata , an exhilarating route that offers a unique access to the Trolltunga. Join our guided day tour or, if you're an experienced climber, book your own ticket for a solo climb.
Upon arrival at the camp, our knowledgeable guides will welcome you and provide insights during your stay. The camp is equipped with necessary kitchenware and a gas stove for your culinary needs, and you'll enjoy cozy accommodations in 2-3 person tents. If you want a singel tent, choose the 'Singel tent addition' in the 'addon' selection.
Socialize over dinner and breakfast in our main 'Gamme', all while soaking in the camaraderie of fellow adventurers.
To ensure everyone has a restful night, we maintain a quiet atmosphere in the camp from 11 PM to 6 AM. After a rejuvenating sleep, wake up to a new day of exploration. Prepare your breakfast and decide whether to embark on another trip to Trolltunga or begin your descent. Even though you are visiting Norway in the summer, be aware that the weather conditions are highly unpredictable. They can change from minute to minute. Temperature can be deceiving as the wind plays an important role in how cold it feels. You might start your hike with summer temperatures in the valley and hike up the mountains where there are still big patches of snow. On rainy days low temperatures and cold winds can make the hike quite challenging, even in summer. On a beautiful day sunny day, you need to keep in mind, that you are very exposed on the mountain, make sure you prepare for hours out in the sun and stay hydrated.
A general thumb rule is: check the weather forecast, prepare for the worst conditions but do not overload your backpack, weight matters greatly when it’s about saving energy. Use the onion look: layers that can easily be taken on and off.
We do not cancel tours due to bad weather. The only times we cancel is when the bad weather becomes dangerous weather. We will inform you in case of cancellation. Please read our cancellation policies for more information.
